Limitations and alternatives

Despite our best efforts to ensure accessibility of USA Group web , there may be some limitations. Below is a description of known limitations, and potential solutions. Please contact us if you observe an issue not listed below.

Known limitations for USA Group web:

  1. Corporate video:
    1. The video may not include captions, audio description, or transcripts, which can limit access for users who are deaf, hard of hearing, or blind.
    2. The video was published before accessibility requirements were fully integrated into our content production workflows, and lacks synchronized subtitles or descriptive alternatives.
    3. We are currently updating our media library. This includes adding captions, transcripts, and audio descriptions to all corporate videos published before 2025. All future videos will be produced following accessibility best practices.
    4. If you need a transcript or assistance accessing the video content, please contact us at accessibility@usagroup.es or use the ‘report issue’ button on the video page. We will provide an accessible version upon request.
  2. PDF documents:
    1. Some PDF documents available on our website are not fully accessible to users with visual impairments or those who rely on assistive technologies such as screen readers.
    2. These documents were originally created using formats or tools that did not include accessibility features such as proper tagging, logical reading order, alternative text for images, or keyboard navigability. In some cases, the documents were scanned images of printed material without OCR (optical character recognition) applied.
    3. We are gradually reviewing and remediating PDF documents to ensure they meet accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG 2.1 AA). All newly published PDFs are created with accessibility in mind. We are also working to replace inaccessible files with HTML versions where possible.
    4. If you encounter a PDF that is not accessible or cannot be read properly with assistive technology, please contact us at accessibility@usagroup.es to request an alternative format. We will do our best to provide the content in an accessible format within a reasonable timeframe.
